There's a little film coming out this December called… Eh, who am I kidding? This is a ginormous one. Star Wars Episode VII is knocking at our collective door, and you know it's gonna be huge. Watch the new trailer below.
There's a lot to take in from that trailer, and I'm sure we'll find more clues to the plot as we rewatch it endlessly over the next few days.
But let's focus on one particular character we know is in the movie, but who still hasn't shown is face in the promotional content (posters or trailers): Luke Skywalker. We've seen old faces before (Han, Chewie…) and in this trailer (Leia), but Luke is nowhere to be found. Strange. I guess we'll know what's up with him when the movie is released.
The Force Awakens, directed by J.J. Abrams (Mission Impossible 3, Star Trek) stars Daisy Ridley (as Rey), John Boyega (as Finn), Oscar Isaac (as Poe Dameron), Adam Driver (as Kylo Ren) and sees the return of Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill; it arrives in theaters on the 18th December, 2015.
