DreamWorks has announced via twitter that a sequel to last year's Trolls would be released in theaters on 10 April, 2020. And that's just about it. The embedded tweet is just below.

Trolls is a nice film that grossed $340 Millions worldwide, and it was even nominated for an Academy Award in the best song category (Justin Timberlake's 'Cant Stop the Feeling!') so it's not that big of a surprise we're getting Trolls 2.
As it says on the tweet, Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake will be reprising their roles as Princess Poppy and Branch, respectively. We don't know who is directing the sequel yet, but the helmer of the first film Mike Mitchell is currently working on The LEGO Movie 2 so that probably won't be him.
