William Talking Toy Story 2 With The Rotoscopers

Continuing my recent podcast tour (you can check out my guest appearances on The Scotty Jo Podcast here and here), I was very happy to be welcomed onto The Rotoscopers' Animation Addicts Podcast last week, talking about my favourite animated film, Toy Story 2. The episode is available now, and you can download it from iTunes, or listen to it here.

During the hour and a half episode, Morgan, Mason and I discuss recent animation news (Tintin 2 details Disney's The Name Game and the new Mickey Mouse shorts), the ins-and-outs of Pixar sequels (including my defence of Cars 2) and a hefty dose of Toy Story 2. If you're into hearing me forgo my critical faculties and constantly praise the greatest animated film ever made, then this is the episode for you!

Listen to hear me come out with such nonsensical British phrases as "cobblers" and "naff", as well as my desire to see Evil Emperor Zurg making corn on the cob. We break down the film, its good points, its really good points, and the odd plot-hole: indestructible Zurg, supersonic Bullseye, the darker side of Toy Story and more (full show notes here).

Thanks a bunch to The Rotoscopers for extending the gracious invitation to me - I've long been a fan of the show, their unbridled, unrivalled love for animation and the sheer fun of the episodes, so being even a small part was a great pleasure! Please be sure to check out their website and Twitter, and Morgan from the show is in the midst of writing a guest post for A113Animation - so keep your eyes peeled!
