'Big Hero 6' Will Return as a TV Show

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Walt Disney Animation Studios and Marvel film Big Hero 6 is set to come back, but not on the big screen; the plan is to produce an animated series that will premiere on Disney XD in 2017.

The show will be helmed by Kim Possible creators Bob Schooley and Mark McCorkle and will pick up things where the movie ended.
Here is what Gary Marsh, president and chief creative officer of Disney Channels Worldwide had to say on the project:
Our colleagues at Walt Disney Animation Studios have created a brilliant new world, inspired by Marvel, with vivid, unique characters. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to further develop these characters into a world class animated series - full of fun, action and the kind of endearing storytelling that only Mark, Bob - and Baymax - can deliver.
Are you excited for the arrival of the Big Hero 6 characters on TV, or would you have prefered a feature-length sequel?
