Get a Sneak Peek at 'The LEGO Batman Movie'

USA Today revealed the first pictures from the upcoming The LEGO Batman Movie, which is a spin-off from The LEGO Movie (2014, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller). The film, directed by Chris McKay, will be released next year (10 February, 2017 in the US). See all the pictures after the break (click to enlarge).

Will Arnett will reprise the role of the caped crusader in this new LEGO movie. Here is what he had to say to USA Today about the characterization of Batman:
The Batcave is even better than we remembered it, it’s awesome. But I also love getting into the ho-hum day-to-day of being Batman and what it’s like to fight crime each day. Like the idea of Batman oversleeping his alarm clock makes me laugh. It really does humanize him.
The LEGO Batman Movie will also star Ralph Fiennes (as Alfred), Michael Cera (as Dick Grayson/Robin), Rosario Dawson (Barbara Gordon/Batgirl) and Zach Galifianakis (the Joker); but Chris McKat notes "We’re nothing but exhaustive about the cameos and other characters that try to enter Batman’s life", so you can expect to see a lot more characters from the DC universe when the movie is released.
