Avengers director Joss Whedon took to the stage for Marvel's Comic-Con panel and told audiences, “I actually don’t have much to say, but I do have something to show you.” What a tease.

Apart from this, Whedon revealed no more news but it's nice he was able to tease us. This time next year there is sure to be footage and all sorts from Whedon in prep for Avengers: Age of Ultron for the summer of 2015.

The character initially appeared in an unnamed cameo in Avengers #54 (1968), with a first full appearance in Avengers #55 (1968). Ultron was created by writer Roy Thomas and artist John Buscema.
Abilities: Artificial intelligence with robotic body; abilities vary with each redesign but generally include extreme durability and energy projection.Also of note, in Marvel lore, Ultron was created by Henry Pym, AKA Ant-Man; Edgar Wright is directing the first post-Avengers: Age of Ultron Marvel film based on exactly that hero - presumably the two films are linked. Now this is exciting.
