The Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood Coming to Blu-ray on 6th August

After recently announcing The Little Mermaid, Oliver and Company and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Disney still isn't done releasing their catalogue titles just yet. They have recently announced the release of two more films: The Sword in the Stone (1963) and Robin Hood (1973).

Commemorating their 50th and 40th Anniversary respectively, both films will arrive the same day the studio is releasing the less-popular Oliver and Company (6th August). Both combo packs will include a Blu-ray, a DVD and a Digital Copy and will feature 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio sound. Bonus material includes:

The Sword in the Stone:
  • New Alternative Opening: Wart Meets Merlin
  • Original Classic DVD Release Bonus Features
  • Music and Magic: The Sherman Brothers
  • Sing-along with The Movie
  • All About Magic Excerpt
  • A Knight for a Day
  • Brave Little Tailor

Robin Hood:
  • New: Deleted Storyline "Love Letters"
  • Alternate Ending
  • "Oo-de-lally" Disney Sing-Along Song
  • Disney Song Selection
  • Robin Hood Storybook
  • Robin Hood Art Gallery
  • "Ye Olden Days" Bonus Short
  • Sing Along with the Movie

Disney has released the cover art (see above) for both films and The Sword in the Stone is already available for pre-order at Amazon.com (below).
