Disney Reveals 'Moana' Characters and Voice Actors

We've known for a while who the two main characters in Moana were going to be and who would voice them (Moana by Auli'i Cravalho and Maui by Dwayne Johnson). Well, USA Today revealed more characters, along with the actors voicing them, a picture and some informations. Get that below.

First we have Moana's parents, Chief Tui (voiced by Temuera Morrison) who's described as an overprotective father. He's the chief of Motunui Island. Sina (Nicole Scherzinger) understands more her daughter's need to sail and discover the world. "She’s very warm and supportive of her daughter, but she’s trying to negotiate the difference between the two of them and be this peacemaker" says director Ron Clements.

Gramma Tala (voiced by Rachel House) is Moana's grandmother. She's very close to her granddaughter, and shares her passion for the ocean.

This is Tamatoa, a villainous 50-foot crab from the realm of monsters. He has Maui's magical fish hook and is played by Jemaine Clement.

Heihei the rooster is voiced by Alan Tudyk (who has played a character in every WDAS film since Wreck-It Ralph). Heihei doesn't talk, but Tudyk provided the crows for the animal, who is described as "dimwitted".

And finally, this is Pua, Moana's best friend.

Moana is directed by Ron Clements and John Musker & Ron Clements and will be released on 23 November (US) / 2 December (UK).
