Watch: A Trailer for DC's 'Batman and Harley Quinn'

Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the next DC Universe original movie: Batman and Harley Quinn. The trailer is quite reminiscent of Batman: The Animated Series, the TV show that aired in the 90's, and it's not without reason: Bruce Timm - the man behind the series - is a writer and producer here. Watch the trailer below.

Kevin Conroy is back as the caped crusader, with Melissa Rauch (The Big Bang Theory) playing Harley Quinn. And here is the official synopsis:
In Batman and Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Jason Woodrue (a.k.a. The Floronic Man) embark on an ecological quest to save the planet – and, unfortunately, eliminate most of humankind along the way. To save humanity, Batman and Nightwing are forced to enlist Harley Quinn to catch Poison Ivy, Harley’s BFF and frequent partner-in-crime. But Batman’s patience is put to the test by the unpredictable and untrustworthy Harley during the twists and turns the reluctant companions face during their bumpy road trip. The result is a thrill ride of action, adventure and comedy no Batman fan has seen before.
Batman and Harley Quinn, directed by Sam Liu (Batman: The Killing Joke) will be available digitally on 15 August, and will be released on DVD and Blu Ray on 29 August.
