New dates for Disney's live-action films

After the success of The Jungle Book, Disney have released new dates and details for upcoming live-action remakes and films. Click below to see the list!

It's no surprise that Disney are keen to remake their Disney Classic's into live-action adventures.

A spin-off of 101 Dalmatians called Cruella, will star Emma Stone in the title role, while Angelina Jolie will return for a sequel to 2014's Maleficent, which will be witten by Linda Woolverton again.

That's not the only sequel, as Jon Favreau and writer Justin Marks will take on The Jungle Book a second time for more adventures in the jungle with Mowgli and the gang.

Reese Witherspoon will be Tinkerbell, with Victorian Strouse (Finding Dory) attached to compose the script. While Dwayne Johnson is set to star in Jungle Cruise, which will be written by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.

Tim Burton's Dumbo appears to be going ahead, with writer Ehren Kruger and an adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time will be directed by Ava DuVernay (Selma). A new adaptation of The Nutcracker titled The Nutcracker and the Four Realms will be directed by Lasse Hallstrom with Ashleigh Powell composing the script.

The most exciting film in the running appears to be confirmation that Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton) will star alongside Emily Blunt in a sequel to Mary Poppins, directed by Rob Marshall (Chicago).

Along with this news Disney have released dates for their live-action films, but with no confirmation of what we will get first:
