The BBC anounces that it will release an animated version of The Power of the Daleks, a serial of the Doctor Who TV show, which is one of the numerous stories that got lost after they were erased from the BBC's archive.
The Power of the Daleks first aired in 1966 and was the first series of episodes (6) with the second Doctor (Patrick Troughton) at he helm of the Tardis.
Using the audio recordings of the original cast, the six episodes will be reborn in an animated form and available on the 50th anniversary of the first airing of The Power of the Daleks: on 5 November at 5:50, they will be released on the BBC store; then, on 21 of the same month, they'll get a DVD release.
