Aardman's 'Early Man' Is Now in Production

Aardman as announced via a very short teaser that their next film, Early Man, is in production. We've caught a few pictures of the project before but this is the first time we're seeing Dug and Hognob move. Watch the 16 seconds clip below.

Early Man is the first feature film directed by Nick Park since its Academy Award Winner Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005), and is written by Mark Burton. Here is how Aardman describes the movie:

Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures and woolly mammoths roamed the earth, EARLY MAN tells the story of how plucky caveman Dug, along with sidekick Hognob unites his tribe against the mighty Bronze Age in a battle to beat them at their own game.

Early Man, starring Eddie Redmayne as Dug, is set for a January 2018 release in the UK.
