Disney Pushes Back 'Wreck-It Ralph 2' and 'Gigantic', Dates 'Frozen 2'

Disney just released a bunch of new release dates for its upcoming feature films, including the animated slate. Check below to learn when we'll get to see those. Spoiler alert: you won't be too happy about some of the announcements.

Bad news number one: Wreck-It Ralph 2 - or as it's now known Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 - is delayed from March, 2018 to 21 November of the same year. Which means there will be a two-year gap between Moana and the next WDAS film.

Bad news number two: Gigantic, the film based on the Jack and the Beanstalk tale, has also been pushed back. It was previously supposed to open on the new Wreck-It Ralph 2 date, but will now only arrive in November of 2020. You read that right, it's a two-year delay.

The good news here being that theses projects haven't been cancelled and have been given more time, so hopefully we'll have better films in the end.

Now, we knew Frozen 2 was in the works, and as of today it has a release date: Anna, Elsa, Olaf & co. will be back on 27 November, 2019.

Additionally, The Lion King animated remake by Jon Favreau will open on 19 July, 2019.
