Jon Favreau's Next Project is a CGI Remake of 'The Lion King'

We thought Jon Favreau was actively working on the sequel to his Jungle Book movie (or maybe on Magic Kingdom), but it turns out his next film will probably be a CGI remake of the 1994 Disney classic The Lion King.

The first trailer for the upcoming live action The Jungle Book (the Disney/Jon Favreau movie, not the one directed by Andy Serkis) has just dropped; and while we, at A113Animation, are not fans of this trend of remaking animation classics into live action flicks, this particular project looks intriguing.
