The first trailer for the upcoming live action The Jungle Book (the Disney/Jon Favreau movie, not the one directed by Andy Serkis) has just dropped; and while we, at A113Animation, are not fans of this trend of remaking animation classics into live action flicks, this particular project looks intriguing. Watch the trailer below.
Narrated by Scarlett Johansson (as Kaa), the trailer teases an epic retelling of the Rudyard Kipling novel, while still giving us a few nods to the 1967 animated film.
The Jungle Book, set for a 15th April, 2016 opening also stars Bill Murray (Baloo), Ben Kingsley (Bagheera), Christopher Walken (King Louie), Lupita Nyong'o (Raksha), Idris Elba (Shere Khan) and Neel Sethi as Mowgli.
