Sony Animation just released a clip from The Emoji Movie, which is apparently the opening scene of the film. The scene includes a one-minute long tracking shot where Gene (the main character, voiced by T.J. Miller) introduces us to the many emoji people in Textopolis. Watch the clip below.
The Emoji Movie is directed by Tony Leondis and will open on 28 July in the US / 2 August in the UK.
