New Brave Featurette: Triple Play

Pixar continue the onslaught of promos for Brave, with yet another featurette today, called "Triple Play". As opposed to yesterday, today's clip is not a parody, rather a brand-new clip showing Merida's mischievous triplet brothers Harris, Hubert and Hamish. Courtesy of Pixar Post, this new clip sees the three young boys reenact the story of how King Fergus won the hand of Queen Elinor.

The triplets are absolutely hilarious and its very easy to see why many people are citing them as the comic highlight of the film!

Brave is released in the US on 22nd June and in the UK on 13th August.

New Brave Clip and Bloomberg's Visit to Pixar

After yesterday's high, it's back to business as usual today, and we have two new great Pixar videos for you. Firstly, above you can see the latest clip from Pixar's upcoming summer release, Brave - via AOL. Although a large portion of the footage you can see here has been seen in previous trailers, this is yet another straight-forward clip from the film; allowing us to get a feel of how the film flows. It looks pretty great, showing the deft blend of comedy and intensity that we've been promised for Brave.

And secondly, Bloomberg have a great mini-video chronicling their recent trip to Pixar and what they observed on what makes the studio great. In the video, we see the Pixar team (including Chris Wiggum, the kind gent that helped set up my interview with Enrico Casarosa), as well as a look at John Lasseter's office. The creative genius behind Pixar and Disney Animation recites his famous quote, "The art challenges technology. The technology inspires the art.", as well as sharing some touching words on the passing of Steve Jobs. The video doesn't seem to want to embed, so you can watch it here.

New Brave Clip Released

Disney and Pixar have released a new 30 second clip from their latest feature film, Brave. Released via AMC Theatres's YouTube channel, the clip (above), entitled Tart Thieves, shows Merida's mischievous little brothers, Hubert, Harris and Hamish in action.

Much like the 'Eyes on the Pies' clip we saw the other week, the short extract from the film shows the troublesome trio trying to pinch some sweets. The triplets are said to be a constant source of comedy in the film, and with clips like this, you can certainly believe it.

Brave arrives in US theatres on 22nd June and UK theatres on 13th August.

Brave: Eyes on the Pies

Today, we were treated to the latest and final trailer for Pixar's Brave, and a couple of days ago we received another video in the series of Brave featurettes, again focussing on Merida's triplet little brothers Hubert, Harris and Hamish. We are now pleased to share with you this newest featurette, entitled Eyes on the Prize (above).

The video is funny and reinforces what we've been hearing that the triplets are one of the best bits about Brave - they certainly seem to be the funniest at least.

Brave hits UK theatres on 17th August; released in the US slightly before, on 22nd June.

New Brave Stills and Concept Art

MTV yesterday debuted a brand new still from Pixar's Brave, while Disney Brazil (via Cine Marcado) bring us another three, showcasing a wide variety of scenes we've yet to see, including a renewed focus on the ominous bear that occupied part of the film's previous title (The Bear and the Bow) as well as Merida's mischievous young triplet brothers.

We were also treated to a lively storyboard sketch (below) from Brave's production via Pixar's official Facebook page.

Brave: Family Portrait

Following on from last week where we treated to the first (of what we assumed are many) Brave Stories, showcasing Merida, the main character of Pixar's next feature film, Brave, Fandango today debuted the second  Brave Stories style featurette, this one entitled: Brave: Family Portrait.

The focus of this featurette is on Merida's hyperactive little brothers; the triplets: Hamish, Hubert and Harris. The trio don't speak in the entire film and, from the accounts of those who've seen an early version of the first half hour, are riotously funny.

The clip (above) also gifts us with a lot of exciting new footage from the film as well as shedding some light on the darker and more ominous second act of the film.
