Anthony Horowitz May Not Be Writing 'Tintin 2' Anymore

Anthony Horowitz, who has been writing the sequel to Steven Spielberg's The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn since 2011 is apparently not working on the movie anymore. He recently commented on twitter, answering a question, that he may have been fired. More below.

Here's the tweet:
This is hardly surprising, as the Alex Rider author has often mentioned in the last few months (on twitter, again) that he didn't know if the movie was still happening. Obviously being kept in the dark is not a good sign and it sounds like new writers will be needed, if the Tintin sequel (supposed to be directed by Peter Jackson) is still moving forward.

And it appears there is hope, as Jamie Bell (Tintin) confirmed once more that the shoot may take place next year. See the actor discuss the film in this video posted four days ago on Cover Media's Dailymotion channel:

Contrarily to what the video says, the sequel likely won't be titled Prisoners of the Sun. Hopefully more informations will appear soon.
