Pictures of the Day: Infographics Break Down Prequels and Power

Today we've got two cool (and massive) infographics for you. To save on the length of this post, I'll just link you.

The first is in honour of Pixar's Monsters University and explores the ups and downs of previous Hollywood prequels, including The Phantom menace, The Godfather Part II and The Hobbit. Check out that mammoth infographic here.

The second explores "The Power Behind Your Favorite Films" and highlights the feasibility (or infeasibility, actually) of some of the big screen's most famous outings. Alongside Superman and Back to the Future, this includes three Pixar films' rather outlandish premises: WALL-E, Monsters, Inc. and Up (pictured at the top). Check that one out here.

Pictures of the Day: Why Toy Story and The Walking Dead Are Basically The Same

File this one under 'things you don't hear everyday'; Chris Hardwick tweeted a link to a rather interesting post, one which boasts "Undeniable Proof That "The Walking Dead" And "Toy Story" Have The Exact Same Plot". I'm not sure quite how "Undeniable" it is, but the pictures are certainly funny - particularly the Governor/Lotso and Hershel/Stinky Pete ones - and as mash-ups go, it's up there with Breaking Bad meets Dexter's Lab.

All this does, though, is hammer home just how badly Toy Story is lacking a crossbow-wielding badass. Check out a smattering of the evidence below, or head here to see them all.

Pictures of the Day: Aladdin Meets DC Heroes and The Simpsons Meets Breaking Bad

I, like many a Disney fan, enjoy randomly bursting out singing A Whole New World. Do you know who apparently shares this passion? Superman. Check out this hilarious mash-up of Aladdin and Batman/Superman (from here) above; I think I may have just found a new iPod wallpaper! I like to think this is the kind of jesting that goes on in the Justice League.

Speaking of cool mash-ups, we've got another cool Breaking Bad one for you! Last time we showed you Threadless's cool Dexter's Lab/Breaking Bad crossover and today TV's best drama meets its most iconic cartoon family, with Breaking Bart (via Breaking Bad Memes).
