Wreck-It Ralph's Out Now in the US - What Are the Critics Saying?

Us unlucky blighters elsewhere in the world will have to suffer through months of rave reviews, but, as of today, American audiences can check out Walt Disney Animation Studios' 52nd animated feature film, Wreck-It Ralph, in cinemas! The film which takes place inside the world of arcade video-games, and is directed by Simpsons veteran Rich Moore, has been the most hotly anticipated animated film of the year, and, judging by reviews, it's been worth the wait.

Madagascar 3 Now In US Cinemas - New Clips and Featurettes

DreamWorks' latest instalment in the Madagascar series, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, is now out in the US, and things seem pretty promising so far. The first two films weren't particularly well received by critics (although the second was a definite improvement), but were commercial hits, garnering $532 million and $602 million respectively. This third entry looks promising so far, early projections expect Europe's Most Wanted to make in excess of $50 million this weekend, with many spectators saying it could beat Ridley Scott's Alien prequel, Prometheus, to take the weekend box-office crown. The critical report so far is also quite positive, with the film currently holding a 76% Fresh Rotten Tomatoes score, with the consensus reading:

"Dazzlingly colorful and frenetic, Madagascar 3 is silly enough for young kids, but boasts enough surprising smarts to engage parents along the way."

TIME's Richard Corliss praises the film, saying "In circus terms, it’s like a guy who’s shot out of a cannon and lands on a high wire in a perfect pirouette." in his review, and calling it a "Cirque de Berserk".

Also, seemingly as one last push to try and convince you to part with your cash, DreamWorks have uploaded several new clips and featurettes from the film onto their official YouTube account. Check them out after the jump break:

Behind the Scenes of Brave

Following from the recent advertising blitz for Brave, TIME magazine today debuts a behind the scenes look at Pixar's next feature. The article shows us nine pictures from the development and production of Pixar's first fairytale, showing the film's original director, Brenda Chapman, and current director, Mark Andrews, interacting with the crew (including the infamous kilt Fridays), visiting Scottish locales and getting a feel of holding the varied weaponry.

TIME have also provided us with an example of a storyboard image from the film, which, for those of you that've watched the new trailer, "The Prize", will be very familiar.

Head on over to TIME to view all the images.

Thanks to Pixarian, Cat Hicks for the tip off.
