"Dazzlingly colorful and frenetic, Madagascar 3 is silly enough for young kids, but boasts enough surprising smarts to engage parents along the way."
Also, seemingly as one last push to try and convince you to part with your cash, DreamWorks have uploaded several new clips and featurettes from the film onto their official YouTube account. Check them out after the jump break:
Sure, they're hardly the most heart-wrenching clips in the world, but they're certainly funny, and the animation is strong and vibrant. I particularly liked the "Car Chase" and "Bad Circus" clips. From early reports, I've heard that the film does have some heart and character development (more than the first two films anyhow), but where it really shines is as a care-free, fun romp, and you can really sense that here.
DreamWorks also released two mini-featurettes (below) featuring some comments on the film from its main voice cast: Ben Stiller (Alex), Chris Rock (Marty), David Schwimmer (Melman) and Jada Pinkett Smith (Gloria). You really get the sense of fun and camaraderie that the people involved in this film have!
Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is out now in the US, and arrives over here in the UK on 19th October. Seen the film? Please share your thoughts about it! Either in the comments section below, by Tweeting us (@A113Animation) or, if you like, email us at contact@a113animation.com.
