Pete Sohn Confirmed as Director of Pixar's The Good Dinosaur

Pixar recently announced (in a subtle yet effective way) the new director for their 16th feature film. And, as expected, it is indeed Pete Sohn (Partly Cloudy), the film's original co-director. Here's the video that Pixar uploaded with the official announcement:

The Good Dinosaur was going to be released this past summer, but was delayed until November 2015 when original director Bob Peterson was removed (although Peterson is still working at Pixar) and the film has apparently undergone a complete overhaul. Pixar's BrainTrust stepped in to help Sohn reassemble the film and, for a long time, the director's name has been kept under wraps. It's good to know that Sohn is directing the film and I'm sure he'll deliver a great film.
