Given how much I liked GotG, I should probably more excited about its sequel; but honestly, yesterday's huge announcement is the Infinity War. It's not only the end of Phase 3, it's the conclusion of this whole Infinity Gauntlet storyline that has been teased since Phase 1 (Thor) and has given us MacGuffins for 4 Marvel films so far (Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Thor: The Dark World and GotG).
ReplyDeleteMarvel is now left with one problem though; how are they gonna make Phase 4 bigger?
I would imagine Phase 4 will be all about shifting the focus onto the new set of key Avengers, i.e. setting up Doctor Strange, Black Panther, etc... as the key guys. So it'll probably be a much tamer affair than Phases 2 and 3. At least that would be my assumption...
