Yesterday was dedicated to animation, but today's big announcements at the D23 Expo were all about live action. Here is our quick recap of the panel, with a list of the more important reveals.

Directing Candidates for Marvel's Doctor Strange Include Brave's Mark Andrews

It doesn't seem like so long ago that Marvel kicked off their Cinematic Universe with Iron Man in 2008, but we're now about halfway through Phase 2 of it, with our eyes starting to glance over to Phase 3. One film that's heavily talked about in relation to the third stage of Marvel's massive screen universe is Doctor Strange. And we're now starting to hear some interesting rumours about who could direct it.

We already know that Kevin Feige is keen to make a Doctor Strange movie, but now, reports are surfacing of casting rumours for the neurosurgeon-turned-superhero.

Disney's Cinderella and Untitled Marvel Film Get Release Dates

It seems Disney are rolling out release dates for films that haven't been made yet, every week! Their live-action Cinderella has now been slated for a 13th March, 2015 release while another Marvel film has a date for 2016.

New Marvel Movies Announced

Disney have been on a roll this week with lots of news; it now appears that two new Marvel films have been scheduled for Phase 3.
