Prince Charming: Latest Victim of the Disney Live-Action-Fairy-Tale-Fever

The Hollywood Reporter reveals that a script based on Prince Charming's story was picked up by Disney. The movie isn't exactly a remake, but is a new proof that Disney isn't betting on originality when it comes to its live-action films.

The movie will explore Prince Charming's life beyond the movies we know, and 'is described as a revisionist take on fairy tales', says THR; which means you can expect to see some changes made to the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty stories.

The script was written by Matt Fogel (who previously worked on Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs as an assistant to directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller).

No release date or director have been announced yet.
