'Tron 3' is Off the Grid

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the third Tron installment (after 1982's original Tron and Tron: Legacy in 2010) has been cancelled by Disney during pre-production.

Olivia Wilde Will Return in Tron 3

We reported last month that a third Tron movie would happen - it looks like the project is moving forward, as The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Olivia Wilde will be back as Quorra, the Isomorphic Algorithm (also known as ISO).

Tron 3 is Happening

VanCity Buzz first reported that a sequel to the 2010 Disney film Tron Legacy would be shooting in Vancouver this upcoming fall. According to the Canadian website, Garrett Hedlund will return as Sam Flynn; and Badass Digest dug a little deeper and revealed that the director of Tron Legacy Joseph Kosinski would also be back.
