Carlos Baena is a former Pixar animator (he worked on Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, WALL•E…) who is currently working on a CG short film called La Noria, a horror story told from a young boy's point of view. There's a campaign at IndieGogo to help get this film made, and it features a lot of artworks and even a video introducing the project. Watch it below.
There's a dark, creepy-looking feel that La Noria has which isn't common in animated films. The comments about the film creating tension rather than relaying on jump scares are also encouraging. Hopefully the campaign is a success and we'll get to see the finish product soon.
You can help the La Noria team by contributing to the project on IndieGogo.
