Cannes: John Lasseter Talks Upcoming Pixar and Disney Films

John Lasseter (Chief Creative Officer at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation Studios) is currently at the Cannes Film Festival where Pete Docter's Inside Out premiered on Monday. But while he was at Cannes, why wouldn't he also talk about the future? Thankfully he did, and some new tidbits on The Good Dinosaur, Finding Dory, Zootopia and Moana came through. 'Inside Out' and 'The Little Prince' Will Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival

The prestigious Festival de Cannes announced its lineup today, and two animated features are in the official selection. They will both be out of competition, so there's no chance to see either of them win a prize, but it's still nice to see animation getting more recognized than it usually is. The two films are Pete Docter's Inside Out and Mark Osborne's The Little Prince.
