We shared a first picture of Aardman's Early Man last week. But here's something more official and more revealing: this is the first time the faces of the two main characters are shown. More after the break.
Empire debuted the poster (which you can click to enlarge). Dug the caveman looks quite fittingly like a prehistoric version of other Aardman characters, while his pet appears to be a some sort of warthog (hence its name, Hog Nobs). The duo will encounter dinosaurs and woolly mammoths in their adventures, and you can spot some of these dinosaurs flying around in the poster.
Early Man is directed by Nick Park (Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit) and we're eagerly waiting for more news on the film, including a release date.
