Cartoon Saloon is mostly known for Tomm Moore's feature films (The Secret of Kells and Song of the Sea), but the studio is developing a number of various projects, including TV series; one of them is called Ellie the Ace, and you can see a trailer for it below.

Up in the clouds is a very unusual town where flying is part of everyday life. On the floating islands of Lockhart you take a plane to get to school, grab a glider to visit your friends and soar high on big adventures.
Ellie is a ten year old who also happens to be a daredevil explorer and ace pilot.
She is outgoing and optimistic, always on the lookout for adventure and eager to make new friends...Louise Bagnall created and is directing the series for Cartoon Saloon, and she was the one who launched the trailer via her blog. There's not a lot of informations on Ellie the Ace airing dates, but we'll try to update you when more is announced.
