Cartoon Brew Debuts a New Poster for 'Khalil Gibran's The Prophet'
We shared the quite charming first trailer for this movie two months ago; and today brings a new poster, which debuted on Cartoon Brew. Khalil Gibran's The Prophet is an adaptation of a prose poetry book, and will open the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on the 15th June.
Roger Allers (The Lion King) wrote the film and directed some of it: Khalil Gibran's The Prophet is a segmented film, with each poem having its own director and specific animation style (you can see hints of this in the new poster).
If you want to learn more about the process of the film, here a fairly recent interview Roger Allers gave to Detroit Free Press.
The voice cast is led by Salma Hayek, Liam Neeson and Alfred Molina. Khalil Gibran's The Prophet will open on the 7th August, 2015 in the US.
