'Tangled': I See the TV Show

Variety reports that a TV series based on Disney's Tangled is heading our way. The show will air on Disney Channel in 2017, and will star Mandy Moore (Rapunzel) and Zachary Levi (Eugene AKA Flynn Rider) who are reprising their roles from the 2010 feature film.

Also returning are composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater.
Chris Sonnenburg (Enchanted) and Shane Prigmore (The LEGO Movie) will be executive producers on the project.

The events depicted in the TV series will take place between the end of the film and before the short Tangled Ever After. During this time, Rapunzel, Eugene, the horse Maximus and the chameleon Pascal had numerous epic adventures. The show will also introduce Cassandra, a handmaiden who becomes Rapunzel's confidant.

What do you think of this Tangled TV show? Is it a good idea from Disney?

I'm excited, but I intend to proceed with caution.
