Watch: the First 'Zootopia' Teaser

Yesterday's first picture of the Zootopia characters was just the tease of today's tease: Walt Disney Animation Studio's YouTube channel has just released a teaser trailer for their upcoming feature film. Watch it below.

This doesn't reveal anything we didn't know already. In fact, this teaser just explains the Zootopia concept, where humans don't exist and are replaced by anthropomorphic. And it does so in a pretty funny way. Here's the synopsis of the film, if you were looking for more story details:

The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery. 

Zootopia is directed by Byron Howard and co-directed by Rich Moore. It will be released on the 4th March (US) / 25th March (UK), 2016.
