Watch: A New 'Moana' TV Spot

A brand new Moana TV spot has been revealed during a broadcast of the Rio Olympic Games. It's also available online, and it's nice and all, but it's also not a trailer. Clocking in at just 1 minute, this video offers just a tease of the epic things to come in Moana, including a huge lava villain. See the TV spot after the break.

Watch: The First TV Spot for 'Finding Dory'

Finding Dory is almost there (it arrives on 17 June in the US - 29th July in the UK), and that's precisely how Disney named the first TV spot for the upcoming movie: She's Almost There; watch the 30-second promotional video - still featuring a good amount of new footage - after the break.

We're now almost one month away from the biggest blockbuster of this spring/summer season, so it's only natural that we start seeing some TV spots for Avengers: Age of Ultron. This one is full of testosterone, one-liners and action bits, and contains a lot of new footage. Watch the one minute TV spot below.

Watch: 'Inside Out' Madness TV Spot

Less than a week after the second trailer, Pixar has launched the first TV spot for Inside Out. Inspired by March Madness, the name given to the coverage of the NCAA (a popular college basketball tournament in the United States), the spot consists almost exclusively of never-seen-before footage. Watch it below.

New Super-Spoof Trailer for The Lego Movie: "Man of Plastic"

Warner Bros.' block-busting return to animation, The Lego Movie, hits cinemas on Friday, so the studio have been rolling out loads of - in the words of their own advertising - "awesome" clips, trailers and TV spots for the film! With DC's super-roster at their fingertips, WB have free rein to Legoify big-name superheroes - hence why we've got this really funny new trailer, spoofing Man of Steel. Plus, hey, a bit of Hans Zimmer's marvellous score makes anything better. Check out that, and more, below.

Super New TV Spot and Posters for The Lego Movie

Likely the best big-screen Justice League film we're going to get in the foreseeable future is assembling! Block by block. Warner Bros. have rolled out two super new posters and an awesome TV spot for The Lego Movie (directed by Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and 21 Jump Street's Phil Lord and Chris Miller), featuring the Lego versions of the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel!

Cool UK TV Spot for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Now the dates are set for both the US and for us Brits, we must play the waiting game until Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Until then, we have a pretty exciting teaser that basically just tells us to get excited.

From the people that brought us The Avengers and Iron Man is a safe way to sell the new TV show. I mean, who isn't looking forward to meeting Lola?

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D starts in the UK 8pm, Friday 27th September.

Turbo-tastic New Clips for DreamWorks' Snail-Racing Comedy

No, not that Turbo-tastic. DreamWorks have released 5 new TV spots for Turbo, their Ryan Reynolds-starring, kinda-like-Cars-and-Ratatouille, raicin' snail comedy. And, should this apply to you, you can watch the previous trailer in 3D too (here).

New Despicable Me 2 TV Spots Online

Just over a week ago, three new, genuinely interesting and actually exciting clips for Illumination's to their 2010 original, Despicable Me. These twenty second, quick-cutting clips focus on Gru, three girls in his care, a lot of action, and a budding romance with Kristen Wiig's Agent Lucy Wilde. One such spot is above and the other two are just below.

Monsters U Bits: Nathan Fillion, Clips and Concept Art

Here's a shocker: Once again, Disney and Pixar are besieging us with endless Monsters University bric-à-bra. Be warned when watching and reading things here; if you don't want to indulge in any spoilers, then run while you still can. Okay? Then let's proceed.

Party-Packed New Monsters University TV Spot

A new TV spot for Pixar's fourteenth feature film, Monsters University, aired during the Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards on Saturday, and you can now check it out online (embedded above). The new TV spot certainly hammers home the collegiate theme of the film, with raving music, hilarious dance moves and general merriment - long story short, it's a helluva lot of fun.

Despite some focus on the actual university, this spot focuses more directly on the actual film behind it all (directed by Dan Scanlon). It also boasts some absolutely breathtaking animation; with this, and The Blue Umbrella preceding it, this is going to be one great looking package when it opens on 21st June in the US, and 12th July in the UK.

DreamWorks' first film of 2013 is the prehistoric caveman comedy, The Croods. People have mixed feelings about it so far, but I am whole-heartedly excited! The clips we've seen so far are really funny, extremely inventive, utterly beautiful and - if the rest of co-director Chris Sanders' career has been any indication - the film will pack a lot of heart.

First TV Spot for Monsters University Takes the Viral Approach

Pixar aired the first TV spot for their fourteenth feature film, Monsters University, today, during the Rose Bowl, and it's now worked its way onto YouTube. Continuing the viral advertising that started with the launch of a real /edu website back in October, Pixar are after advertising the actual university here, rather than the film - and it works, it's hilarious. Not to mention, we see lots and lots of beautiful backgrounds and settings; Monsters U looks to be a beautiful movie!

A prequel to 2001's original Monsters, Inc., Monsters University is directed by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae. It stars the voices of Billy Crystal, John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Frank Oz and many more returning from the original film, new characters will also be voiced by Dave Foley (who previously voiced Flik in A Bug's Life), Julia Sweeney, Joel Murray and Pixar's Peter Sohn - Kelsey Grammer (who previously voiced the Prospector in Toy Story 2) is replacing the late James Coburn as Mr. Waternoose also.

Now we're in 2013, it's only a matter of months to go, and Monsters University is released on 21st June in the States and 12th July in the UK.

DreamWorks Release Two New Rise of the Guardians TV Spots

DreamWorks have been on a major roll since Kung Fu Panda in 2008, outputting a series of great films, and reaching particular highs over the last two years with How to Train Your Dragon and Kung Fu Panda 2. But with their latest film, - the last under their current distribution deal with Paramount - Rise of the Guardians, they seem to have made their best film yet.

Today, DreamWorks released two new TV spots for the film, which you can view above and below. The spots showcase the epic, Avengers-like, team that the Guardians form, as well as the gorgeous visual style, and trademark humour, of the film. I love the balance of intensity and comedy - I laughed particularly hard at the "knock him out" bit in the "Secrets" video.



The animation, the colours, the worlds - the entire visual style is stunning, and the film looks, definitely, to be one of 2012's best animated films. Rise of the Guardians, directed by Peter Ramsey from the books by William Joyce, hits US cinemas on 21st November, and UK ones on 30th.

New Wreck-It Ralph TV Spots as the Release Draws Closer!

As the US release of Wreck-It Ralph (2nd November) draws ever closer, the advertising is reaching frenzy levels, as Disney are going all out on promoting what promises to be a big hit for the Mouse House.

New Wreck-It Ralph Poster and TV Spots

A couple of weeks ago we got a concoction of fantastic new posters for Disney's Wreck-It Ralph, showing the film's characters alongside classic video game icons. Today, via Disney Movies UK's Twitter feed, we get another wicked new poster for Disney's 52nd animated feature.

The poster combines the classic characters that we've seen previously, such as Sonic and Q*bert, and the film's leading original quartet of Ralph, Vanellope, Felix and Sergeant Calhoun. Another great poster in the great advertising campaign of the great looking Wreck-It Ralph. Why yes, I am looking forward to it!

To further whet our ever more insatiable appetites, we also get two great new TV spots for the film! The spots, while funny, highlight the film's emotional core surprisingly well. They show Sarah Silverman's character, Vanellope von Schweetz, as rather sweet and helpless, as opposed to how annoying she's came across as in the trailers - we also get the first proper look at Vanellope's car from "Sugar Rush"! Not forgetting our first real look at Jane Lynch's Sergeant Calhoun.

The TV spots also finally give us Wreck-It Ralph's rating: PG, unsurprisingly. Directed by Futurama and The Simpsons veteran, Rich Moore, Wreck-It Ralph is due out in America on 2nd November, and the UK on 15th February, 2013.

Finding Nemo 3D TV Spot

Disney are rolling out the TV spots at the moment. Yesterday we got a TV spot for Disney's 52nd animated feature film, Wreck-It Ralph, and today Pixar's official YouTube channel released one for the upcoming 3D re-release of Finding Nemo.

Almost a decade after Andrew Stanton's directorial debut first hit the big screens, Nemo is still a fantastic (both in terms of story/character quality and animation quality) movie and is beloved the world over; it's sure to be a huge hit for Disney when it opens stateside on 14th September.

Alas, those of us in the UK won't get to "sea" Finding Nemo 3D until some time in early 2013.

UPDATED - Wreck-It Ralph TV Spot

Now that the London 2012 Olympic Games are underway, Disney have released a seemingly Olympic themed TV spot for their latest animated feature, Wreck-It Ralph. While the film is set inside the world of video games, this TV spot (above) features some real-life games, specifically wrestling.

The video is interspersed with footage from the trailer we saw at the start of last month and features Glee's Jane Lynch, who lends her voices to the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun in the film, and a very hands-on Jack McBrayer, (30 Rock) who voices Fix-It Felix, Jr. in Ralph.

It doesn't really show us anything new, but it's pretty funny - because, honestly, who doesn't love Jack McBrayer? Disney are handling the marketing for Wreck-It Ralph very well thus far, and it certainly looks phenomenal; the Mouse House surely have another winner on their hands.

Wreck-It Ralph is still a while off though, and hits US theatres on 2nd November, and arrives here in the UK (at the moment) on 15th February, 2013.

Brave Review TV Spot

Brave is out in US theatres on 22nd June, that's this Friday! Although those of us here in the UK have to wait to until 13th August to see Pixar's latest, that hasn't quenched my excitement for it in the slightest. So, I was going through Pixar's YouTube channel, watching all of the Brave videos, and found the above video, posted a few days ago.

For some reason, this TV spot is unlisted so it only showed up when I clicked on my subscriptions list, and despite being up since the 14th, it has less than a hundred views. But, it's fantastic, as it shows, despite some negative reviews and that people are happy to search for Pixar's shortcomings, this is still a brilliant film. Cited as "visual magic" and "remarkable in every way", I'm still very, very excited for Brave, and have the utmost faith in Pixar.

The teaser still gives me goosebumps, and I have no doubts that the film will blow me away.

New Pixar Videos: Finding Nemo 3D Trailer and Brave TV Spot

Disney and Pixar continue to roll out the promotional videos for their 2012 releases: their latest feature Brave, and Finding Nemo 3D. Following on from the teaser trailer we got a few months back, Pixar have now unveiled the full-length theatrical trailer for the 3D re-release of Andrew Stanton's Academy Award winning 2003 release, Finding Nemo (above).

Well edited to focus on the parts of the movie that are sure to look great in Disney's solid 3D, as well as highlighting the beautiful, visceral animation that'll feel even more immersive, the trailer comes via Yahoo! Movies.



We're also treated to, yet another, video from Brave. The new TV spot (above), entitled "One Family", showcases the great family dynamic that is at the heart of Pixar's thirteenth feature film.

Brave hits US theatres on 22nd June, and UK theatres on 13th August. Finding Nemo 3D arrives in US theatres on 14th September (the day after my birthday) although who knows when it'll be released here in the UK; Beauty and the Beast 3D is only being released here now.
