Pixar's dino flick may have been delayed until November 2015, but that doesn't mean we're hearing nothing about it. The Good Dinosaur has now got an extremely colourful teaser poster, leaked via jPosters! UPDATE - 21:33 (GMT): Poster removed at the request of Disney and Pixar.
It's certainly very vibrant and cartoony - in fact, the prehistoric vegetation certainly brings to mind DreamWorks' visually stunning The Croods - and The Good Dinosaur looks to be an immense amount of fun. The plot seems kind of like a reverse How to Train Your Dragon: the asteroid that wiped out dinosaurs on Earth never hit, so dinosaurs and humans share the planet; here though, the dinosaurs are the smart species, and the humans the uncivilised one.
"The film is a humorous and exciting original story," says the film's description. "About Arlo, a lively 70-foot-tall teenage Apatosaurus with a big heart. After a traumatic event rattles Arlo’s tranquil community, he sets out on a quest to restore peace, gaining an unlikely companion along the way—a young human boy named Spot."
The film, formerly directed by Bob Peterson (co-director, Up), is now being shepherded by the team of John Lasseter, Lee Unkrich, Mark Andrews and original co-director Peter Sohn. It stars the voices of Lucas Neff, Neil Patrick Harris, Judy Greer, Bill Hader, Frances McDormand and John Lithgow, and is now due to hit cinemas on 25th November, 2015.
