John C. Reilly for Guardians of the Galaxy!

This news is late to appear on A113, but it's still very relevant to post. John C. Reilly has joined Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy!

Guardians of the Galaxy, which is soon to start shooting here in the UK, has got itself a pretty impressive cast: Karen Gillan and Glenn Close were the last to sign up, along with Chris Pratt, Zoe Salanda and Lee Pace, to name a few.

Oscar-nominated Reilly has now been confirmed to join the film too, as Rhomann Dey, the head of the 'Nova Corps'.

Reilly is best known from films such as Magnolia, Gangs of New York, Chicago, The Aviator and voicing the lead in Disney's Wreck-It Ralph. Given he's such an incredibly accomplished actor, Rhomann Dey is sure to be another great performance.

Guardians of the Galaxy, due on 1st August, 2014, is shaping up to be very, very interesting.
