It was only last week that we reported that Bradley Cooper was in talks to voice Rocket Racoon in Guardians of the Galaxy, but last night, Marvel confirmed it.
This started as a rumour, but now the Guardians of the Galaxy cast is getting close to being complete. Cooper will be voicing Rocket Raccoon, who for people who haven't read the comics, is exactly what he sounds like: a raccoon with extreme military expertise who's pretty good with a gun. This will be Cooper's first voice role.
Meanwhile, Vin Diesel's rumoured role as sentient tree Groot in the film is also all but confirmed; the star spoke to the Huffington Post about his latest film, Riddick, and they report as fact that he is voicing the character. He even spoke about it, head here to read that.
