The Disney floodgates have opened (it's the time of year, y'know), and here's the first clip from Walt Disney Animation Studios' next feature film, Frozen! The clip shows Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Olaf (Josh Gad) running away from the mammoth snow monster ironically dubbed Marshmallow, summoned by Anna's powerful sister, Elsa (Idina Menzel).
Equal parts funny, immersive and completely epic, Frozen certainly doesn't look like Tangled anymore. The film features original songs by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, one of which, "Let It Go", went down a treat at D23 yesterday. Frozen is directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, and produced by Peter Del Vecho.
The clip comes courtesy of our pals at The Rotoscopers, they're the place to watch for Frozen news - subscribe to their YouTube channel why don'tcha?
UPDATE - 14/08/2013, 15:02 (GMT): The Rotoscopers removed their video (we blame Disney), but the clip is re-embedded above via another YouTuber.
This movie gets more gorgeous by the minute!
ReplyDeleteOh no! The Clip has been removed :(
ReplyDeleteOh balls... Okay, it's embedded via another user now! :)
ReplyDeleteNow that there is a new video up.........I'm again underwhelmed! Ugh! I want to love this movie so much but I keep getting in my own way! Although the Elsa snow animation does look really nice.
ReplyDeleteReally? I thought this clip looked really good! It's a shame we're not getting more of them, but at this point I'll take what I can get.
ReplyDeleteYeah...I think the voice acting is subpar, and the animation (excluding the snow magic) is meh...I'm a tough cookie to crack.
