This Week on A113Animation (29th July - 4th August, 2013)


While no life altering developments happened this week, we still had some pretty exciting news, Blu-ray announcements, teaser trailers and more. And of course we got the latest features, one guest review and the latest podcast episode. Check out the full breakdown of this mildly busy week.


News:



The Croods coming to Blu-ray on 1st October: DreamWorks pre-historic film is arriving in stores this fall in various presentations and with an array of bonus material. For more information check here.

John Williams returns to Star Wars: In some expected but still amazing news, legendary composer John Williams confirmed that he'll indeed return to score the upcoming Star Wars installment. For more details and to see an interview with him check here.





Two Animation cels from Disney's latest short, Get a Horse!: Two gorgeously animated cels from disney's classically drawn Mickey Mouse short have been unveiled. For more details check here.





Mary Poppins coming to Blu-ray on 10th December: Everyone's favorite nanny is making her BD debut in time for the holidays and for the theatrical release of the Tom Hanks vehicle, Saving Mr. Banks. Full details here.












New poster for Thor: The Dark World: Marvel's latest film just unveiled an epic new poster featuring all its major characters. Check it out here.







SpongeBob 2 and Monster Trucks films due in 2015: Paramount announced release dates for two films based on popular franchises. Full details here.
