The first official plot details for Brad Bird's Tomorrowland have been revealed, and the lovely people at /Film have got the low down for us.
/Film received the press release and report that filming is now underway on the big Disney sci-fi flick. This is what we know about the plot thus far:
This is a really exciting tease, which still doesn't give too much away about the storyline, just that we can expect something science-y - and lots and lots of mystery.
Tomorrowland will star George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Britt Robertson and Raffey Cassidy and is directed, produced and co-written by Brad Bird (The Incredibles, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol). Jeff Jensen and Damon Lindelof also co-wrote the screenplay based upon a story created by the three.
Tomorrowland is due to be released 12th December, 2014 in the US, and 26th in the UK.

The more I hear about this, the less I feel like I know, and the more excited I get! Brad Bird is one of my favourite directors, sci-fi is my favourite genre - there's no way this can not be awesome!
