It's great to get a better look at how the powerful God is coping after 'New York', as we catch a glimpse at how Thor calls upon his brother for help, brings Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) along to Asgard with him and is still fairly good at using that hammer.
Thor: The Dark World will see Thor threatened by the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim, who are lead by Malekith (Christopher Eccleston). Both Earth and Asgard don't appear to be safe, as there is equal footage of Darcy (Kat Dennings) and Erik Selvig (Stellan Skarsgård) earthbound, and Thor's almighty team, not earth bound, protecting Asgard.
The film is directed by Alan Taylor (Game of Thrones) and will see most of the cast from the first film returning, including the above mentioned and Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins and Jaimie Alexander, as well as a few new faces, Zachary Levi and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
Thor: The Dark World is hitting UK screens 30th October this year; 8th November in the US.
