Disney's New Live Action Project: Pinocchio

We've got a new entry in our recurring 'Which Disney classic is going to be turned into a live action film today?' game - And the winner of this edition is the beloved… Pinocchio!

Just like with the Winnie the Pooh remake, the news comes from Deadline. According to the website, Peter Hedges (The Odd Life of Timothy Green) will write the script, which will be loosely based on the original Pinocchio story.
The character first appeared in The Adventures of Pinocchio (1883), a book by Italian writer Carlo Collodi. Pinocchio is a fairy tale, telling the story of a puppet - created by sculptor Gepetto - who wants to become a real boy, but whose nose grows each time he tells a lie.
Walt Disney's animated adaptation (1940) is the most famous, but not the only one or even the first.

An alarming question must be asked, now: what will Disney do when they run out of animated classics to adapt into live action? At this pace, they'll have to find an answer by the end of 2015.

What are your thoughts? Are excited or do you think enough is enough?
