2013 Comic-Con Posters for Thor and Captain America

Comic-Con kicks off in San Diego in just a few days and the convention has released some pretty cool concept art posters for the next instalments of Marvel's Phase 2, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Click below to see them!

All the lucky people who get to attend the Marvel panels at the San Diego Comic-Con this year are in for a treat, as we bet Marvel have got a lot of treats to share for the upcoming sequels to Thor and Captain America (not to mention TV series spin-off, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). To tease us all they have released two pretty cool pieces of concept art

The Thor one only shows us the mighty God and his hammer, but, intriguingly, a background littered with characters. We already know from the trailer that Natalie Portman will be returning as Jane and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, but here we get a closer look at Christopher Eccleston as the villain, Malekith.

The Captain America concept art is even more interesting, as we see Cap with his famous weapon, his shield, in a struggle with the titular Winter Soldier. The Winter Soldier, if you can't tell, is Bucky Barnes from The First Avenger, played by Sebastian Stan.

The Captain America art is by Ryan Meinerding and the Thor artwork by Charlie Wen.

Thor: The Dark World is due 30th October in the UK and 8th November in the US; Captain America: The Winter Soldier hits on 4th April, 2014.
