Watch: 'Hotel Transylvania 2' Teaser Features a New Character

Sony Pictures Animation just debuted a teaser trailer for their upcoming film, Hotel Transylvania 2. Genndy Tartakovsky who directed the first movie in 2012 is back at the helm, as is most of the voice cast - with some additions. Watch the dangerously funny teaser below.

It appears the sequel takes place a few years after the first film; the boy is definitely the son of Mavis (voiced by Selena Gomez) and Jonathan (Andy Samberg) and the grandson of Count Dracula (Adam Sandler).
We also know that Mel Brooks will be joining the cast as Dracula's father Vlad; all of that points to Hotel Transylvania 2's story being very focused on parental relationships, maybe even more than the first one was.

Hotel Transylvania 2 will reach theaters the 25th September (US) / the 9th October (UK), 2015.
